Norfolk invests your money in loans secured by registered mortgages over properties throughout New Zealand. We offer a prudent investment option for our clients. Unlike other funds which pay interest quarterly, our interest distributions take place monthly. Like you, we invest for the long term, and so we do not offer specific or tied investment terms. This means there are no entry or exit fees should you decide to invest with us. We do ask however that you provide us with six months' notice to withdraw existing investments. A minimum initial investment of $5,000 is all that is required to take the first step in your journey with us to secure your future.

Unlike a group investment fund, our top tax rate is only 28%. The Trust pays PIE tax directly to the IRD, so you do not have to include this in your income tax return.
We understand that every dollar counts. While many funds offer no entry fees, we also do not charge our investors any exit fees.

How secure is my money?
The Trust provides loans that are secured by real estate. The Manager uses its expertise to ensure that the security has been reliably valued and the properties are readily saleable. You can find our lending guidelines here in our product disclosure statement.
What do I need to know before investing?
We always recommend speaking to a financial advisor before making investment decisions. Norfolk Mortgage Trust is run by a manager that is licensed under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 and registered as a financial service provider (FSP 31523). Our statutory supervisor is Covenant Trustee Services Limited. The manager and supervisor are both members of an approved dispute resolution scheme, Financial Services Complaints Limited.
